During my time at Bath Spa University, I was involved in a wide range of productions that allowed me to develop both costume and scenic art skills in practical, hands-on settings. As Head Scenic Artist for Corner Shop Goblin at the Egg Theatre, I collaborated closely with the set designer to realise a 1970s shop interior, painting geometric flooring and sourcing period-accurate posters. I also worked as Assistant Scenic Artist on Rats’ Tales, contributing to a large-scale wood and canvas backdrop inspired by Marc Chagall’s I and the Village, and painted detailed character imagery to enhance the storytelling. On the costume side, I designed 21 historically inspired costumes for Christmas at Newton Park, an immersive theatrical experience, drawing and colouring each look using Procreate. I was also Costume Designer for Already Torn, sourcing costumes and working closely with the director on creative updates. As Senior Costume Maker for Habeas Corpus, I drafted patterns from scratch, constructed period garments, and led fittings and alterations. Earlier in my studies, I worked as a Costume Assistant on Shoot, Get Treasure, Repeat, supporting the wardrobe team with maintenance, alterations, and dressing room setups. These diverse projects gave me valuable experience across departments and strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively within creative teams.
