I undertook a two-week work placement as an Assistant Scenic Artist with 4Wood TV and Film Construction in Cardiff, working on the Doctor Who Christmas special as part of the show's 60th anniversary celebrations. During this time, I contributed to scenic work on several key set pieces, including sanding, filling, and preparing the interior of the TARDIS for painting. I also assisted with ageing and distressing effects on spaceship flooring using texturing techniques, and helped detail wall panels and doors. This experience provided me with valuable insight into professional studio practices and strengthened my scenic painting skills for television production.
