I worked as a Wardrobe Dresser on this vibrant, large scale musical with a cast of  26. My role involved preparing and presetting costumes for quick changes, assisting actors with dressing, orgianising costume trundles in precise scene order, and maintaining costumes between performances. This fast paced experience honed my skills in efficiency, adaptability, and collaboration. While allowing me to support a high energy production that celebrated humor, heart, and iconic music.

Working back stage on Muriel's Wedding was an absolute joy from start to finish. The backstage environment was full of energy, teamwork, and shared enthusiasm, which made even the busiest moments feel rewarding. The camaraderie among the cast and crew created a supportive and fun atmosphere, and fast paced nature of the show, with it's quick changes and vibrant costume shifts, kept every performance exciting and dynamic. Being based in Leicester added to the experience; I really enjoyed exploring the city's rich art scene, independent coffee shops and bustling nightlife. It was a fantastic opportunity both professionally and personally, and one I'll always remember fondly.
